Sick little girl

Thank you all for your beautiful personal stories and condolences. I will be honest, I am blaming myself for not getting her to the ER clinic earlier instead of back and forth with the regular vet. I keep thinking the outcome might have been different.

But I know that life is full of "what ifs" so I will try my best to just picture the wonderful things I remember about her. She was the funniest little dog ever :) and never ceased to make me smile or laugh out loud.

Her is a good photo of her giving someone the business.

What a wonderful picture of your sweet, beautiful girl!!!!! Thank you for sharing it with us. (I would consider framing it, if I were you.)

Please try not to blame yourself. You gave it your 100 percent.

I believe, our lives and the animals, are already planned out by the Lord.
She is pain free now and running and having great fun with the other shelties.
I know she would not want you to be blaming yourself. You loved her totally and she knew that. I also believe you will be with her again, later on.

ps I am so very sorry for your loss and for the pain that you are having to endure. My heart goes out to you. I know I will be in your shoes one day, and I am not looking forward to it. I love my Mally so much.

I am so sorry to hear that Scout is no longer with you. It is one of the hardest things to go through. When both my Lassie & Annie passed away I 2nd guessed myself like crazy. We feel so helpless because we are "fixers". Sometimes there are things that even all the love & care in the world just can't fix. But you did the very best you could & Scout had no doubt that she was loved & cherished all the days she shared with you. We will all keep you close in our thoughts & hope that the wonderful memories of the good times will be what you remember.
