One time Bonnie was resting her head on my mom's foot. Mom was wearing shoes with a weird leather tassel. When Bonnie got up, mom realized that Bonnie had eaten the tassel.
Ruffles is the worst. She's a plant carnivore. I am constantly watching her because she will eat ANY leafy or flowering thing. Many of the outside ones are definitely not good for her. I thought she'd outgrow it but, alas, at nearly 2, she still snacks on plants.
So take heart, Jean. It could be worse. And sometimes... it does pass!
My foster Sheltie (5 years old) will not leave my Sedum plant alone. After checking online for possible toxicity, everything I read stated that animals will never eat Sedum because of the bitter taste . . .
Maybe he needs the bitterness to counter balance his sweetness
