so Gizmo has never really been much of a snuggle bug. he would only sit still IF you were giving him a good scratch, and then it would only last for a couple minutes MAX. well the last month or so we have seen an increase in his sugglieness!!! there was one time i was brushing him and he wasnt sitting still so i kinda trapped him between my legs (sitting on the floor) with his back to me. well he squirmed around to face me and just set his head in my hand, looking at me, and just cuddled there for like 10 minutes! there have been a couple times when my husband will be sitting in the recliner and gizmo will jump up and sit on the arm of the chair and my husbands leg and just cuddle. or he'll climb in between my husband and his laptop and sit there too. just now he jumped up on the couch and sat next to me, so i put my arm over his back and he just laid there with his head on my leg. is this a sign that he is starting to mature?!?!? :fl lol. he is now about 15-16 months old. has anyone else had an anti snuggler go to the occasional snuggler? oh another thing he has started in the last couple months is actually bringing us toys to play with. whether its his hol-ee-roller (sp) or a rope or a stuffed animal. he will bring it to us and either drop it at our feet or next to us (if on the couch) or sometimes he will actually drop it in our hands. he has also learned "get your ball". he will go look for it if we say this and bring it back to us to throw.

My boy, Buddy, was slow to snuggle. At first he wouldn't sit on my husband's or my lap (we sit in recliners). When he was about 1 1/2 years old, I broke my hip and had to have 2 operations on it. Suddenly, he started sitting on my lap. I was kind of depressed because I couldn't go anywhere or walk him, but I kept throwing his toys down the hall for him to get some exercise. After a couple of months, he sat on my lap all the time and kept me company. Once I could walk again, he quit sitting with me for a while. He's 3 now and sits on my lap for about 1/2 hour a day. I think he really wants to let us know that he cares about us, too. Isn't it great!

Beckon likes cuddles, but he won't sit on your lap. He'd rather give big kisses and get hugs. Layla wasn't a snuggler at all, nor a kisser. Now she wants to sit near me and is becoming very kissy.

Sally has also become quite the cuddler...we love it . She also brings tug toy and her hol-e-roler to be thrown . She will bounce the hol-e-roler in front of us to try to tempt us into playing fetch...and it usually works !
