So I was looking on that pedigree lines site

They probably don't have access to the stud books. So they have limited information. I had to enter most of my dogs, and for some reason can't update them anymore.
 
Sorry, I really don't know anything about this stuff. My breeder gave me a copy of Meggie's pedigree. Perhaps you could ask for one from your breeder?
 
Im confused by no info what do you mean?? It has her name listed and her sire and dam when I pulled it up? What info were you looking for?

EDIT...I just read that was the sire's pedigree...It only means that they didnt bother to enter the dam on the site. To post pedigree info on there for you dog you have to join and than you have to fax in their AKC pedigree...The owners of the dam probably felt it was more effort than it was worth since they are BYB. 99% of BYB are not interested in pedigrees or who they are breeding too..imho

I read through all the topics here and that helped as well. I was just more like :O when I saw that the Dam wasn't listed, as in "wow, is this worse than I thought?" The sire seems to be okay though.

I wouldn't trade my boys for anything, but I really wish I had found these forums before I went through the process. Red flags and whistles would have been going off like fire alarms.

Our pups are related!!

Peter Pumpkin and Fair Play are all over Duncan's background (makes me a little uncomfortable with the inbreeding).

Midas Citation of Sundial is also a grandsire of Duncan's. Midas' sire is Am Ch Heritage Spirit ROM ROMC, who appears in LOTS of pedigrees - even one of BarbV's boys and I'm sure plenty of others.
 
Yep, Peter Pumpkin and the MacDega pups are all over Bacca's lineage. And Sunnybrook's Matchmaker too.

We are an incestious bunch! :smile2:

Some of our pups even look somewhat alike! Katherine and I have remarked a few times on the resemblance of our pups, but I can't remember if we ever established a link.

i'm not surprised. i see so many pups that look just like mine (SheltieGuy's pup on here is one of them).

i think it's pretty neat!
