Sour Tummy with Vibrant Pets Senior Complete??

Have any of you Vibrant Pet fans noticed a "break in" period needed with Vibrant Pets Senior Complete? Chelsea seems to be getting a bit of a sour tummy from it. Some new kibble sometimes needs to be worked in slowly for a change over. I just was wondering if we need to be doing a half scoop (ratio to one cup) with Vibrant Pets.

Yes, the VP directions are to start it slowly. So if you're feeding 1/4 t per feeding, start with a pinch and work your way up over the course of a week. Also, spread the daily dose over two feedings...don't give it all at once.

This is pretty standard for adding any supplement. Never give the whole amount the first time.

Just started my boys on this... So far no issues...
Will cut back however... Gave them the full dose at one meal!
Won't do that agai... Will work my way up as you suggest!
 
I don't think I started out with smaller amounts and worked my way up.. I also break it up into two meals. Half a scoop with breakfast, half a scoop with dinner. I also put a bit of water in there because she will lick the bowl dry if there's water, but leave the remaining powder without it. She gets 2/3c dry dog food a day so with all that powder I'm sure it's a little overwhelming. The water helps a lot. I guess every dog is different though. And my dog eats the Active dog version, not the senior. I'm not sure what the difference is.
