Southern Sheltie Gathering Highlights

Oh and the reason everyone was amazed at a stay:

Everyone was lining up and I thought they were going for an all dog picture. So I line Sca up and tell him to stay. It then becomes clear that it is people and dogs. Everyone is telling me there no way he will stay in all this. I tell them yep he will (he learned in the chaos of flyball class after all). Of course on the first attempt he had to make me look bad before all the pictures everyone else posted so far.

"Hey, Dad, I had to make sure everybody knew I am the STAR!"

Oh, gosh, SERIOUSLY jealous. It looks like so much fun, both for shelties and people. Michele, you know how to throw a party. Thanks y'all for the pictures and stories, I loved it all. Glad you had a smashing time!

Yay! I'm finally going to get to the photos. Michele, I've been seeing you post them on FB all weekend and I'm like, "nope, don't look. look later. trying to do agility. don't look." LOL. So I'm finally off to look.

Sounds like everyone had a blast. I say, we plan a year in advance and do a countrywide meetup. Yeah, who wants to plan THAT one. lol.

Aww Cheryl, you have made my day.One day I hope to meet you.

FYI...if my schedule pertmits,I would love to party plan that one.

Oh, I love all the action shots! I can't wait for us Floridians to get together too. Not that everyone wouldn't be welcome, of course!

Great pictures. They reminded me of how Mr Duncan would slide by and check on Gracie. He kept close tabs on her most of the day  Some great action shots also

My sheep is still unpacking the mobile house so I can jump on the computer.

Sca's review:
I counted 17 fellow Shelties and Mr Earnhardt. And it is award time
Boomer: Nice to run with you dude hopefully you can make it again next year
Duncan: Dude you need to bark more. When you coasted up at first I thought you were a haint and it scared the tar out of me. Good guy but more running and barking and you will blend with the herd :biggrin2:
Gracie: Runner up senior dog. While Ms Callie is the queen you just feel that this charming lady has cookies baking. Oh and what a begger! she showed me some moves I plan on using in the future.
Oops got to sign off and make my sheep through my frisbee

Thank you about my begging! I've been practicing  ~ Gracie

Hey Sca buddy~ I'm trying to fit into the herd but with all those sables, it was hard. I'm a little too merly - Nice to meet you though and I'll try to be more rowdy next year ~ Duncan
