Specialty Tricks

Does agility count as specialty tricks? I mean, most dogs don't like to cross things that move (teeter) or be high off the ground with nothing but air under them (dog walk).

But seriously... the only tricks, beyond basic obedience ones, that Edan knows are Circle, Dance, and High-five. I tried to teach him roll over but he wanted nothing to do with it. I also tried to teach him to craw but just didn't stick with it long enough to have him get it.

Tricks

Shadow plays dead , rolls over, bows, says prayers, high fives, waves goodbye, weaves in and out of legs, what you call spin is his left and rights, and will jump in my arms from a sit stay 50 feet away.

Mally will "Zig-Zag"/weave between your legs when you walk only if you keep the treats coming. (He barks through the whole thing). If you put a small treat on his nose he will let it set there a second or two and then flip it up in the air and catch it. (he averages pretty well in catching them) He will sit, lay down and roll over, but only for our daughter Emily. She taught him this when he was a puppy. If anyone else asks him to do this he looks at you like you are nuts. I guess this is his special series of tricks only to do for Emily.

Deja barks when I tell her to back up. It's like she hates it.. She'll do it for the treat but she tells me what she thinks of it the whole time..

Nike knows roll over, shake (right paw), paw (left paw), spin, dance, "bump", touch, "hug", double-paw shake, and weave between legs.

Right now, we're learning to conga (I'm not even kidding). The master plan is to teach him to walk behind me on his hind legs with his paws on my back, then to teach Honor to follow him doing the same move.

I'm hoping Nike will catch up to Honor. She's my trick loving fool dog, and knows all of Nike's tricks plus "window", play dead, jump into arms, back stall, beg, bow, feet taps, heel between legs, and is halfway to a handstand.

I love how much they both love to learn! I'm hoping the "conga" idea will work out, and am hoping to teach Nike to play dead after that!

Lisa I loved your videos.:smile2: Great tricks. The AKK are so cute, I love the name Honor. It's part of Justice's registered name.

What does PR' stand for I know its sometimes with the pedigree but I forgot what.
