Spirit Joy

Well, all kinds of good news here! Spirit trialed this past weekend - and after all our hard work - on Sunday - she had a Q and first place, with a clean run - in Standard!!!!!!! Yep, that's right! She did the teeter!!!!!!! She actually had an almost perfect run on Saturday as well, including the teeter - but she took an off course a-frame (not a disqualification) and nicked the broad jump (which is judged as a knocked bar, so disqualified). But still - I am super crazy proud of her. She is very tentative on her contacts, and she's been spinning on the teeter (yes, you read that right) but the fact that she completed 2 Standard courses with all her contacts is a huge step for her!!!!!!!

And - she is going to be a big sister. I'll start a new thread, but Spirit's breeder has a litter, born November 1st. I'm getting a little tri girl. Still thinking about names. She's going to be small, which is why she's available. But that's perfect for agility. I'll post pictures tomorrow. She'll be coming home to us on New Year's Day :-)

Thank you! This is the first I have posted about her :-) I haven't brought her home yet. She is 6 weeks old today. I'll be bringing her home on New Years Day!

And yes, she is so tiny! Hard to believe that Spirit was that small one time too.
 
those standard runs are looking good- it did look like she thought the dogwalk was the teeter in that one run......
I confess I looked at the puppy pix first- sooo cute:yes:
