Steel, ceramic or plastic!?

Bentley used to do the same thing. We had a stainless steel water bowl in the bedroom and a ceramic one in the kitchen. He would wait until we opened the bedroom door and drink water there rather than drink from the ceramic one. But he did eat out of his ceramic bowl. Not sure why he would do that--but we've switched to stainless steel now. We have the same ones that Bailey has :)

The one that you posted looks like it would be very hard to tip over. The ones that I have I think would be easy to tip over, if the dogs wanted to do it.

I'm assuming Bentley no longer does this now that you switched? If so, I'm switching for sure. ;)
 
I only use stainless steel at home and collapsible silicone for travel. But what is wrong with the ceramic bowls? Do they trap bacteria or leach somehow? Many of times I'm tempted to buy a cute little bowl, but who needs more than 1 water bowl on each floor of the house? :smile2:

I use stainless steel as well. Plastic is very porous and prone to harboring bacteria.
