Indie has a few beds, but he does prefer the tiles more. But I'd say out of all the beds he has, he probably likes his memory foam beds the best. He's got 2 of them after I cut up my old memory foam topper - about 4 inches thick? It's too soft for me, but just right for him. 
He's got an inverted egg carton type that is ok, but doesn't seem better than a thick blanket. Then there's the puffy round bed with cedar chips from Costco. I think it's too soft or the inards are too lumpy? He likes to pounce on it, but that's the extent of it.
