Surgery for Layla the Therapy Sheltie

So how is Lady Layla going? Have you had her out and about yet or is she still confined to her crate.

What does the rehab involve - are there exercises to do?
Yes I am very interested too. I hope she is improving well.

Getting worried, we haven't heard anything about Layla's progress. And, most importantly, we haven't got a picture of her riding in her chariot, um stroller.

Tyler has just had a biopsy for a tumor on his shoulder he is only five years old. He arthritis in both elbows. We will not know the results until the biopsies come back. Anyone else have this problem?
Yes, our Bitsy Boodle started developing arthritis when she was three. At 11.5, she's bone on bone. Vibrant Pets kept her going for a long time. Now she gets Adequan injections weekly to keep her mobile. At your Sheltie's young age, he may benefit from having the arthritic elbows smoothed. Layla had this procedure, plus platelet-rich plasma. Now she walks, runs and even jumps with no pain, just a little morning stiffness. Check with a place called Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Annapolis, MD. If you are not nearby, they can possibly direct you to a specialist nearby -- their founders, the Drs. Canapp, teach worldwide.
