tag bags

A friend has read about tag bags and we both want them....where do you find them? There was one pictured on Sheltie Forum with fabric one's. Not sure who posted about them or what thread it was under.

Thanks, Susan

That post was called "tips on keeping the coat white". GeeRome was the one with the neat tag-bag. I wanted one too, but then she said that a local lady made them and sold them. She lives in Canada. Too far away from me and though I can sew, I couldn't figure out how to make them from the picture. If you find out anything, please let me know. I'd like two too!!

Thanks Chrystal her being in Canada does not help me at all....sure looks like a good idea. I will tell my friend they were hand made.

Only in Canada, you say? Pity!

Ok - this joke would only be meaningful to baby-boomer Canadians who remember the Tetley Tea commercials! :rolleyes2:

I'm not a baby boomer but I remember that commercial. My whole family only drinks Tetley :smile2:

what a great idea! I must have missed the thread about tag bags! If I'd heard of these sooner I probably would have gotten one. I may still, I'll have to ask GeeRome about this lady since for once I may be near enough to the person who makes them!

I did notice that one of Sadie's tag's was turning her white rough grey. I ditched the tag and bought her a stainless steel one instead (her ID tag). Then I put her remaining tags on the handle of her leash, since there's no law (in my city anyway), saying the tags have to be on the dog, just that you have them. That way only one tag makes noise and nothing makes her rough grey.
