Teddy had a set back.

I recall last year Piper had a small cyst removed and the vet probably shaved a 2” square. I’m sure within a few months it had filled in enough that I didn’t notice it anymore (although Piper has longer fur that covered the area). I’m sure by Christmas Teddy will have fur covering the area although it may not be as long as the rest. In your most recent photo it almost looked like he has some peach fuzz growing already.
Teddy may surprise you with his fur growing. I do believe there are products available that help the coat grow. My sister had a Bichon that she showed and she used something that helped the coat grow in thicker.

My Dad makes a mountain out of a mole hill. It's not like mouth or gallbladder surgery, those are biggies and so many of my friends here are doing those. I just want everyone to be happy and healthy. You play so much better when you feel good. I am ready to lose my bonnet, but neither Dad or Mom will let me yet except when I am supervised outside.
I don't know what he would do if he had to watch me go through a biggie. He is such a wimp.
I know he is already watching my gallbladder and he said he is giving me peanut butter nummies because of that. I luv peanut butter. :)
He has been spending time doing what he calls research on the Internet for something called a surgeon in Ohio Bad part about that is it cuts into valuable playtime.
I hope everyone starts feeling better soon.
Till next time...
Teddy

I know it's been a few days since I have done any updates on Teddys boo-boo. After getting results back it was determined that he had been bitten by a spider most likely a brown recluse. He is done with his medications and I am just watching him slowly heal.
He still has 2 very small scabs but everything is healing up slowly.
The only thing I find surprising is waiting for his fur to regrow, is slower than watching paint dry. As much fur I clean up around the house I find this amazing.
I just want to Thank everyone for their kind words and support as he recovers from his boo-boo.

Oh wow! That amazes me that a spider could get though all his fur down to the skin to bite him! Good grief. And believe me, I know about waiting for their fur to grow back. Meadow's surgery is Monday, she will have a big shaved belly and a poodle leg too when she comes home. SIGH.
Glad to hear Teddy is doing better, the area looks good. You'll be glad to put this behind you!

Looks good! Definitely worth a cookies. Is he cone of shame free?

Yes,he earned that yesterday, he has been super good all through this. He received a Redbarn fire hydrant shaped dental chew as his treat. They smell horrible to me but they are his absolute favorite treat.

Sharon, I feel for you and Meadow, Teddy is on Gall Bladder medication, so I have a feeling that surgery is in his future too. I hope Meadow does really good when she has hers.
