Thanksgiving Cluster

Well, it is the largest AKC agility trial in the country bringing alot of the top handlers here like Linda Mecklinberg.It is a four ring trial.On Fri.and Sat.there are 2060 runs and on Sun.1980 runs and Mon.is Excellent only and that is 990 runs.It has also the ISC classes wich if your dog wins the Standard and JWW they automatically win a spot for the World Team tryouts.And if you think the courses are easy Trust me they are not.:lol:

Holy moly that is a LOT of dogs running. How fun (and crazy and maybe a bit stressful) would that be.

Sting showed there last year and he had a blast.I think it is strefessful only if the owner is stressed because the dog will feed off it but also if you have a dog that stresses over anything then it would not be good to show in it.If you have a dog that either trots or barely makes time it would not be could either.Sting is high drive so it did not bother him.I love this trial but this is the first year I will not be going.Shadow always did well here.
 
I'll be at the Cluster Fri, Sat and Sun. Just running my younger dog as my older one is not crazy about it there.

I'm planning on going either Sat or Sun. Riley is still too green to run, but he'll be ready by next year. We were going to enter Riley in rally, but I don't think the largest show would be the best first show.....

I get to shop, watch, and cheer on everyone instead! :biggrin2:
 
I may have to go and watch some on Monday.This is a fun trial and the courses are excellent though some feel AKC courses are easy.:eek2:
