The "dry spell" is over

I also wondered why a breeder would sell a young, active puppy to an elderly person without at least insisting on the puppy being returned if there was a problem. I see a lot of old people with Jack Russell terriers that are driving them crazy so we are back to being responsible and having some integrity when it comes to the selling of dogs. Fortunately Lassie is in a safe place where they will do their best to find a truly suitable home.

OMG that face!!! Really lucky I don't live in Florida or I'd be toast. SIGH. We have that problem here too with older folks taking on a pup or a breed that is highly active and just not being able to cope.

Whenever people comment on my Shelties' good behavior, I always say (after saying thanks) "Well, they weren't born that way!"

Lassie will surely find a good home quickly Judy. I bet she's fun to have around in the meantime. I'm sorry to hear that you are being inundated with rescue dogs again, though.
