funny how everyone thought I meant bonded to another dog in a less bonded to their people way.
I kinda meant how some dogs need to go to the vet together or they get really upset.
Or can't function as a single when the older one passes.

Gavin was bonded to me, but not in an overt way. at the beach you would have no way of knowing he was my dog (before the wheelchair).
wasn't cuddly, even when camping in 0C weather I got no snuggles :( He would sleep next to me, but not touching. He would follow me everywhere though.

Pico is very snuggly and loves sleeping with me, and he will nap curled up next to me laying partly on my leg. Pico doesn't follow me everywhere though,
who knows how that will turn out.
 
I'm not worried about it per se,
but the whole 5 minutes for every month of age guideline is complete BS.
I know I ignored that with Gavin, if I even knew about it then.

so today he is 24 weeks!
(and 5 and a half months.....when do you stop counting weeks as opposed to using months?)

so this afternoon I spied on him with the webcam.
he was laying down in his 36" crate with an open door which can fit 3 of him comfortably (as opposed to outside his crate in the pen in the kitchen).
he was just chilling out and howling!
not a thing wrong, no anxiety, no pacing.
just bored.

he's still a little @#*!@
