The new guy has arrived

For now, I would supervise. Make sure they are not alone together.
If you feel it's not improving, and need help, I would look into Susan Garrett's book Shaping Success, which covers working through this issue with two of her dogs.

seriouslly though, give them time, let them set their boundries and work things out. Supervise them, be there to make sure it doesn't get out of hand and let them get to know each other..

Deja and Darby have been sharing our home since they were 9 weeks old and now at 8.5 months they still get into spitting matches, usually when Deja touches one of Darby's toys.. And every toy is Darby's toy!!:wink2:
 
They'll sort it out; just referee the interactions for now. Most adult shelties don't want to play with very small puppies, ....but you wait a week or so and they warm up to them.

Ha ha, at least people respond to all of your guys' posts!:o I havent found the right things to say or how to put things right in order to get replys! But I am still enjoying reading everyones topics :yes:

ya just spit things out! Sometimes you get things right...sometimes you're off base. But the beauty of this forum is that we are generally forgiving! And sometimes you get an inspiration for some wacky post....e.g. the face behind the name, what is your day job, the SUBU, etc. and you just go with it.
