The sheltie nobody wants

Update on Lucky - he was taken to the vet and found he has a broken leg.:(
He will be going to surgery and getting pins and wires etc. He has been put on puppy food also. Poor guy. Just when I thought we could try to find him a home. I am going to keep up on him nevertheless.

Wow, that would be a great possibility! A dream come true for him.
 
I have been in contact with Sheltie Shack in Kansas and they will take them. They have to work out arrangements with Pets Miracle. I just hope they get both of them. Here is Copper's petfinder link. He's been there since 2006.

These poor pups. I swear some days I can't take reading these posts anymore but continue so I can share them on fb. It does get to you though. :cry:
 
Besides Copper and Lucky Going into a sheltie rescue (praying it all works out) I told them about a collie I saw there that has been there for 2 years. I think sheltie rescue wants the collie too if they release her. Some of the stories I have read about how/why the dogs get into rescue really get to me. But getting the dogs out of pounds into rescue or finding homes for them is my goal. Being the voice for the voiceless.

me either Dawn :(. If I didn't already have four. There have been several I would LOVE to adopt. One of mine is a rescue and she is the sweetest lil girl you could ever want...
 
I am thrilled the rescue is taking all 3. I deleted the craigslist ad. Wonder why so many shelties are popping up in shelters. Bailey & London (CT shelties) are such joys that I want a happy ending for every dog. Thanks for putting out the alerts Danny's Mom. If there are ever any down my way I'll be glad to help rescue them. My shelties are starting a whole new group of new sheltie lovers around here. People haven't seen many & are falling in love with mine.
