There may be an addition in near future

A raccoon name? I am hoping.

my family is biracial so that term threw me for a loop, made my blood run cold in surprise. Btw Nor do I know anyone with that name.
Noooo, a coon hound, sorry...shoulda put whole thing in. And not Blueberry, but just Blue. That’s not why I’m not 100% on the name either...I think I just need to meet her.

Why? They couldn’t remember what berry name she had ? Lol
I’m not 100% on Blueberry...thought I was...liked it but then my mom said it’s a coon name and I thought huh? Then I heard from someone else the same thing. Told my mom it’s not set in stone and that if she came up with a better name...
Oh of course my mom also said and I quote “that’s right, your getting one of the ugly ones:ROFLMAO:” (she’s referring to the bi blues)...I just shook my head.
pretty much- something berry...... and he's a boy.....
I guess blue is for blue tick coonhound??? not sure I can go with your mom's assessment if she thinks bi blues are ugly:rolleyes2::no::((
and especially not your little girl- she's gorgeous:yes:
but seriously- tell them she's named after the raptor in Jurassic World..................

Yep, gotta be careful with words! How about some version of blue - like Teal? Or, Ciel (I think it's French for sky). I knew a young lady with that name and always thought it was pretty. I only got to name 3 of our 7 Shelties, the first was Skye, then Asta, we'd picked her name out beforehand after meeting a fabulous Border Collie with that name, then Meadow. Sometimes it is best to meet them first and then the name comes more easily.

THIS is why I always ask question! :) and it didn’t fit with sheltie nation

I teach and the number of times parents have come to me cuz their child said they got “hit” in class. I ask the kindergartener to explain and the actual story is “oh yes! So and so was putting on their back pack to go home and they hit me with their back pack. i don’t think they even knew they did it.!” Kinder talk hit= bumped.

we don’t have coon hounds in my neck of the woods, not like the south.
Your little guy is adorable. Nothing like a sheltie puppy. I totally missed your initial announcement

my brother has a dog named blue (who is the color black) named after a jazz musician rather than color

I think I just need to meet her...it’s so different with COVID than it was with my last 2 dogs. The excitement during that last week was unbearable, I’d always picked a name by then and I’d seen them at least 7 times by the time they came home. With this girl I haven’t seen her yet...she’s just this cute pup I’ve seen pictures of lol...doesn’t seem real. It’ll be real in 1 week. I better get some rest now while I can:lol:
