poor Ginny is deserpate but he only has eyes for pretty Sadie![]()

He actually plays with Ginny the majority of the time so Ginny isn't THAT ignored, lol.
Toby and Ginny are great together. Ginny is who I like to call the fun police. If anyone touches one of HER toys (all of them are hers as far as she's concerned), she immediately runs over and snatches it from them. Toby's favorite game, however is tug, so when Ginny tries to steal the toy from him, he won't let go. So they spend most of the day playing tug on the various toys she tries to steal from him.

He's so sweet with both of them and frequently nuzzles their ears and backs. Its way too cute. His activity level is not that bad, as I suspected. He has the same energy level as Sadie and Ginny, but settles nicely in the evening. No bouncing off of walls or getting into things as long as he gets his exercise.
My dh really likes him and Toby is warming up to him (He's shy of men but LOVES the ladies
). Toby is a real snuggler so when my dh cuddled him last night, he first looked VERY unsure (HELP MOM!) but you could literally see him melting in my dh's arms. So sweet! He's very nervous outside, to the point that I have a hard time getting him to do his business. As soon as he gets out there he's too concerned with whats going on around him to remember to go. He also refuses to go on anything but grass, so he won't relieve himself in the designated area. We're letting it go for now and instead letting him go on the boulevard in front of our house. On the weekend when we're around we'll go back to basics with him and treat him as if we're crate training a puppy. I think that will set him straight pretty quickly.
He's house trained, can sit and shake a paw, but that's it. No other training. I feel so sorry for him, he's led such a sheltered life. On the other hand he's a blank page and young so I can start from the beginning with him. He's very smart and catching on quickly. He got the 'Look' command in about 60 seconds and his impulse control, stay and down commands are coming along nicely. We're working with leash pulling and lunging at cars, which he's very afraid of. He improves with each walk.
