Throwing up bile!

Baby rice cereal might be a good night time snack too, as it may be easier on the stomach for dog than even crackers, because there's no wheat in it. I some times feed it to my two when they have upset tummies.

No time for the vet today.

I gave him kibble and a little wet food last night. No throw up.

I think I'll try some straight kibble tonight. I really need to be careful about weight gain. I guess I'll have to cut back on his other daytime portions.

This is such a pain. Bacca and his pills, Indy with his stomach. Both requiring constant TLC! Silly pups! Its good that I love them.

p.s. back on the probiotic yoguort....my son says that dogs should not have it. Is yoguort bad for dogs?

Really, how interesting...I got curious so I Googled it as well and really couldn't find anything that stated yogurt is not good for them. I am curious what article it was. I would feel terrible since I feed it pretty much everyday :cool:

I feed Megan about a tablespoon of organic, non fat,sugarfree, blah, blah,blah, :lol: probiotic yogurt every day.

What you are going to do with the food, cutting back a bit during the day, is what I would do. I always count in Emma's treats, etc, in her food count for the day.

Yogurt is good for dog's coats and as long as you are careful the amount you give, there should be no problem, unless your dog has had a problem in the past. I would try a natural yogurt or unsweetened one or low fat with an active culture. It may take a while because of his stomach surgery to get everything going well again.

Your son has it wrong. Yogurt is fine for the dogs. It's the stuff that the dogs dig up in his room that is bad for them :lol:

kidding :biggrin2::winkgrin:
