Did I ever mention that the way I got Lyme Disease was from my furry bedmates dropping live deer ticks in my sleeping space?? :eek2: (I know, eeeuuuww)
 
OK, we once picked 24 deer ticks off Bits after she tracked a whitetail through the woods in high summer! :eek2:

BTW, I am spring loaded to sit bolt upright in bed at the merest tickle of teeny tiny little legs making tracks up my arm..leg...eeeeew!!!! :dead:

hehehe, and this would be exactly why my dogs don't sleep in my bed! I was laughing when I read this but I would be so grossed out if that happened to me! I wouldn't be able to sleep in my bed for weeks!
 
We live on Lake Hopatcong, I have to rub down Crazy three times a day during the months March thru to October and have pulled many a tick off him. Brown ticks are large and easy to find but deer ticks are very,very, small. I use frontline on him. I found it is the only thing that works for us.
 
You win with 24, Chris! Someone in Connecticut must be mailing them to Virgina...what a good idea!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

My friend raises Goldens and two of her girls went missing for 6 hours, They saw some wild turkeys and went off chasing them. My friend going nuts finally got them back and pulled off one dog 30 something ticks.
