Ticks keep coming

Just an F.Y. I. its cold its snowy and I pulled another tick off Crazy last week

OMG! What kind of ticks do you guys have over there?!?!?! It's winter for goodness sake. I know that they are hard to kill, but come on. WOW, I feel for you and Crazy. I hate ticks! Just the thought of them makes my skin crawl.

We had a day or two of nice weather so I guess the ticks thought it was spring. I really do not like ticks at all either.

according to many exterminators I have spoken with it seems once a tick lays eggs they can stay buried in the ground for up to 7 years. Wet weather (excessively wet) can wake them up even in the winter if there is moisture in an area. So even though it is cold does not mean that ticks can die if eggs are there. If they are buried in the soil they can lay there for a VERY LONG TIME BEFORE THEY HATCH OR COME TO LIFE

Yep, I'm with Chris. Our temps hit 60 yesterday. Tomorrow we'll be in the teens, and Wednesday snow. I wish it would bury the little buggers till June! Give me a good blizzard!!

Again I picked a deer tick off Crazy this time. I know Barb is right in saying they are like a "Timex"
