Too early this morning!

Zak has gotten us up to take him out twice this week early but today he slept in with us till 6:45. Week days we get up at 6:30 and 7:00 is late for us. Maggie is fine till we wake up and Zak usually is giving us little barks to get out...he can't wait to see Maggie.

Fergus is our early riser. He usually needs out at about 6:00am. Baxter usually opens one eye and looks at me like "is he nuts it's cold and dark out there" and goes back to sleep for an hour or so. Everybody is up by 7:30 because it's time to eat.

I get up, around 8ish to let my girl kitty back in from her outing... She wakes me up meowing to be let in. I may stumble into the bathroom after, then fall back to bed where Toffee thoughtfully is keeping it warm until at least 10:30 when is get up time

I feed Toffee at night after I get home from work and his midnight walk, I KNOW I woulda never get an iota of sleep if breakfast comes after getting up at my house!

Haha if I try to get Iris up out of bed before 9 it is not happening hahaha. I have to litterally pick her up, wake her up a little and put her harness on while holding her. Otherwise she will run straight back to bed. Once were outside, she pees and is running straight for the door again so as though she can run back to bed! So on weekends shes all about the snoozin

Your description of Iris sounds just like Earnhardt. If we did not have the two puppies,Earnhardt would sleep till noon and never budge.I don't know how he holds it as long as he does.

Wow, I am so jealous of those of you who have pets that let you sleep in past 6-6:30am, mine sure as heck don't :dead:.

With my son & his wife,at one time they both worked 3rd shift. So thet slept during the day.And both chihuahuas did to.They were crated all night while they were at work.In the mornings they would have thier play times, before mom & dad went to bed.

I was always amazed at how they got into the routine, but they did really well.

I think since Megan sleeps on my daughters bed at night that when she occassionally gets up early to finish homework, it obviously wakes her up. It might be time for Meg to sleep in her crate in our room when Kaylee has to get up early

Che sleeps in our bedroom but he prefers his own bed... he sleeps until 7 am or little later, if he wakes up before me he just sits on the carpet in front of my bed and looks at me... no barking, whining or anything, just patiently waiting.... my kids were not as nice as Che is...
he also does not want to rush outside right away for potty so once I am awake we do little massage, stretching in the bed and then get up and go for walk... he eats after the walk- has to earn his food...
