Thanks again for all your advice.
I've had aussies, but every individual dog is going to be different. She is probably the driviest aussie i've had yet which is both a blessing and a curse haha.
So we're starting on NILIF for her as was suggested. I bought her a harness that she gets to put on when I go to work and she's home with the fiance. Today was my day off so I've been home with her all day so no room for trouble, but I did have my fiance feed her. Dancer sat and waited before her food bowl came down. I had my Fiance walk her with Wiley today as well and she was able to control her with me there.
What she's told me is that when she's attempted to put Dancer in her crate she's mouthed her and spun around as if to bite and then it looks as if she remembers "oh it's you." It's the oddest thing I've ever seen honestly. She will have her mouth wide open and teeth bared but she won't close her mouth just keeps swinging her head around as if she wants to. It honestly looks like she's fighting with herself. Needless to say we're working on this.
The good news is that we have tools to work wit now, the bad news is Dancer snapped my long lead yesterday.
And I'm always glad to converse with my sheltie buddies here on the forum... we still hope to have another sheltie one day. It's actually been fairly sad around the house lately thoughts of Moonshine always lingering.
