Tug toy champ

We also measured Blueberry and she’s 11”

Her ears look fantastic! I prefer the tape but glued Deacon's ears the day he came home. I really want to tape them. Cool that Finnie got to visit too! Oh my -27... Wow!!!!!

Blueberry is bigger than Deacon who weighed in at an even 7 lbs yesterday and 9 3/4" tall. He continues to be just a few ounces heavier than Brodie at same age and 1/2" or so shorter. If he continues on this same growth curve I'm thinking he'll be around 14 1/2" or so. Time will tell.

I’ve got the instructions my breeder gave me with Finnie for doing ears if your interested Sandy. You need the Japanese ear tape and a can of starter fluid (you spray the tape and makes it super sticky). It’s really quite simple, you just need one person to hold and one to tape.

I just did them, but thank you! I had taped Brodie's ears and prefer it to glue. Ann can tell you my glue stories, I was a mess and made a mess of Brodie's ears - she rescued Brodie from me! The day I brought Deacon home, I glued his ears - was quick and I took advantage of him being out of sorts. I did have to re-glue one, but they held until today so apparently I am way improved in my glue technique! After reading your post, I decided to bite the bullet and do the taping. I managed to do his right ear by myself but had hubby hold him to get his left ear in. And yes, I do use adhesive with the tape (Doc Brannens). He doesn't seem too fizzed by them.

Funny, he has a black ear (and black pants on that side) and then a grey ear with grey pants on that side (His bum is split in half right down the middle - too funny to see...) That grey ear is so much hairier than the black one! He has much more coat than Brodie had.

Much like Blueberry lol...she has one black ear (which is opposite of her black eye spot) and one white/grey ear....funny how that happens.
