I have a small, medium and a large sheltie! Actually the large sheltie is just right but if you line them up next to each other it looks like I did it on purpose! Zoe is my smallest at 12 inches and she weighs about 15 lbs. Marlie is medium and is 13 inches and weighs 22 lbs. Rasha is just right at 15 inches and weighs 25 lbs.

You can't tell how small she is in the pic, I will have to try and get a better one..... anyway, she looks fat but she's all fur!!

My little girl is all legs!! When she was 4 months she was around 14" and 15 lbs (she was super skinny!!). I just measured her today at 1 year 3 months and my girl comes in at 18" and 30 lbs on the dot! So she is on the large size, but she still looks skinny lol. When she gets a bath she just looks pathetic!

This picture is hilarious! I'm not sure I've ever seen so much fur on such a small pup! Grooming must be a treat!
Zoe is the worst out of the three to groom. Her undercoat is thick and it doesn't shed like a normal dog, it stays on until I brush her. She takes an hour to brush when the other two take 15 minutes! When you bath her she looks soooooo skinny!

I went to a dog show this weekend and they had sheltie speciality and it seemed like all the shelties there were 13 inches and very small boned. Darcy looked big boned next to them.

it seems like all the show shelties I see are closer to 16 inches and big boned. I like my shelties at 14 inches. I think its a good size for them.
