Update on Cogsworth from New Mexico

Cogsworth has a home!
After one more week of treatment Cogsworth will be going home to his new family. People were lined up for Cogs. After screening applicants, they found a good home for him.
What I found on the same site was a little terrier mix that is identical to a little dog I found in New Mexico years ago. They picked her up on the street just like my little 'Flaca' that I found the same way in Albuquerque. I asked that if they don't find a home for her, that they contact me and I will at the very least fund her stay there until she has a home OR get a relay going. You can see her on the site, her name is Donna she is 10 months old. They picked her up on my birthday. Uh Oh.

My Harper Lee won't give up her title as 'chief diva queen goddess.' I wonder how I can really bring a baby into the house, with her very reactive, behavior.
Since we lost Seamus, she and I just don't see eye to eye on too many things, she has changed. Sometimes I think that she wants me out of the way so that she can have Daddy all to herself.
No judgements here, she is who she is and I love Harper but I don't think that Harper will love another dog so easily. I will play it by ear, because you are right, those darn stars are aligning.

Harper might surprise you- I always thought that my first dog was happy as an only dog and then in his later years, I puppy-sat for friends and my boy loved having that pup around.
