Update on Colonel Underpants

Beckon is on more pills than a pharmacy: blood pressure medication, sodium bicarb, cranberry, his usual thyroid meds, one more I forgot... And they're definitely helping his renal function. Only two levels are off now, which is most encouraging. I'm waiting to hear from his nutritionist about his diet; I'm planning to call tomorrow, as it's been two weeks.

So far, he's showed no signs of illness at all. He's still eating well, helping with the chickens and enjoying the snow. Every day is a very precious gift! Thank you all for the prayers!!!

I'm doing great! Beckon hasn't exhibited any change at all. His new food is arriving today, so that's good. I'm cautiously optimistic.
