I called the vet yesterday and she recommended that we give the pill every other day and pull blood work in a month to see how it goes...
If staying stable we can keep going that way.


However, if not... I would still pay for the meds as I can afford it for now.

I don't know about this drug specifically, but if it's a generic you might also be able to get a lower price by joining Walgreen's drug program. When Mercutio was on pain pills, they went from $300 for 200 pills to $20 for the same number by doing so. He also got his very own ID card that said "Mercutio 'Dog' Retzkin" so he was an official card-carrying dog :smile2:
 
That does not shock me one bit. Its the suppliers that is causing the problems.
My husbands meds I would have to ask you to sit down. Some of the suppliers I swear are making shortages to force one into higher prices. I called a supplier for the heck of it and they were 21 months in the rear meeting demands.

Its outrageous the cost of meds.
