Welcome home, Vici! It'll take probably 3 baths before she smells completely nice. I hear that Cowboy Magic helps salvage matted coats. :confused2:
 
That is so wonderful that you brought Madi into your life! She is one lucky girl! Keep us posted on how the grooming goes! I hope you can save her coat too!
 
Madi The first night I brought her home...Sorry she wouldn't take pics. This was after 1 hour of brushing/a garbage can full of undercoat.

I took her to the vet. Everything checked out well besides her being very overweight. The growth/abscess' are Lipoma. They are very gel-ish and the vet thinks they will decrease or disappear with her weight loss. Now I have to brag...I have not heard one single BARK out of her. LOL! Not at the shelter nor my home. Is this some sort of miracle? :lol:

Ohhhhhh ... She's a CUTIE!!! Reminds me a bit of Fancee - our first rescue.
 
Madi has a beautiful face and her coat now looks as though it's been treated with care. What a wonderful thing you have done for her. She probably thinks she living a dream right now.
 
What a lucky Baby to have found you. I am sure that sad look will disappear quickly as she he absorbs your love and kindness.
