The North Downs Way is a National Trail of 156 miles so I'm not setting out to do the whole route this time.
The section I am doing is about 14 miles in total (we are doing about a couple of miles at a time) and begins from my favourite photograph location. From the building where I work, I can see much of the route of this walk yet most of it has been entirely new territory for the dogs and I to explore. I have been missing out all these years because it has been wonderful, filled with drama and stunning views. A proper adventure which has reminded me of the journey of 'The Fellowship of the Ring". Going out of your door is indeed a dangerous business even when you have a map and know where you are going, you never quite know where you will end up or what you will see!
I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as we enjoyed doing the walks.
