Walking while peeing!?!

Well I don't think it is just a sheltie thing,or a long haired dog thing,because Earnhardt (lab) has always walked & pooped at the same time. Sometimes he will go in a circle,sometimes he goes straight,but he often covers alot of ground during the act.

I have not seen Trapp do any of this,however when we first brought him home,and he was playing outside,he would walk and pee.He does'nt do it now though.

My boy hasnt learned to lift his leg yet ... but for some reason he, on occasion likes to pee outside then WALKS inside and poos in the house !!! It seems as though there are too many smells outside and he cant decide where to leave a deposit.

It was a long time before Earnhardt would lift his leg.Brian thought he was never going to do it,then all of a sudden one day,he partially lifted it..Brian was so excited,that Earnhardt was finally getting the hang of things,and not squatting. He was over a year old the first time~

I have a 9 yr old three legged terrier mutt who walks when she pees. Her crowning achievement was walking the length of my sister's front walk (about 20 feet or so) with a stream going the whole way. she walks in such a way that doesn't get her wet, is funny to watch too. She's always done that.

btw, ever seen a 3 legged dog dig?

OMG Too Funny!! I thought it was just my Sheltie that did that!

My sweetheart Sam who passed away at 16 last year never did that but my latest addition does and my husband said too bad she can't fertilize the lawn for us! LOL
