Don't feel bad about that! I understand I have 2 purebred Shelties.I think Sheltie Rescue of GA has a lot of dogs right now. If you see a Sheltie at an all breed rescue, apply right away they always go fast unless they are older or have a health problem.
I have an application with them, Mid Tennesse, one up in Indiana, the Memphis one, got em all looking for me a sheltie that's within my preferences. I am not sure what happened with East Tenn, but they just don't respond anymore. I had an application in for Doll and their site updated to Adoption Pending the day after our home interview and that was the last I heard from them. I hope she found a home, because I would of gave her a great one.
