Now! is actually a buck or two cheaper than some of the premium brands, and recently dropped in price. Not sure why.
Thanks Michele, for the heads up on the Merrick's - I'll have to check their website to see what changed and why. I really like the content of their canned foods (e.g. lots of veggie stuff), but miss it being sloppy.

ATM they are eating Life's abundance with gusto.And also liking the Merricks dry kibble as well.We are still in decision mode here.
They have been on poop watches now for 2 days,no issues whatsoever.No gut problems,thank heavens.And Trapp is eating like he used to.Makes me wonder if its just him,coming into adulthood,..you know nookie on the brain kind of thing.Could very well be a female in heat somewheres thats driving him crazy.
I am leaning towards Merricks.One being,I like the variety.The other I like the smaller bags,which gives me & them a taste of something differant,without loading up on a 20# bag of one variety.
And the canned varieties..well who would'nt like Grammy's Pot Pie??
And I am liking the price long term.Ingrediant list is superb,and it is totally grain free.Which at this point,LA is not. It does have oat groats?? Which I am not sure what that is. Beet pulp,not to converned about it,as they have eaten food with that in it.No ill effects.
They like Life's Abundance,but for me to stay away from grains etc..I and also Brian am liking the Merricks.
Chris,,,thank you for respnding to my email.Yes Chris did use LA,and did like it,as well as her pups,but again the issue of grains was a problem.

Oat groats and beet pulp are both cheap fillers. I would stay away from foods that choose to use cheap fillers.
Just an FYI...TOTW does NOT use beet pulp.
