I'd like to do therapy work with Piper as well but I've heard from others that hospitals and care homes don't recognize titers so dogs must be vaccinated irregardless.
However just doing obedience will do so much for Baron's confidence. We finally made it out to class yesterday (after 2 months) and after a good 20 minutes of chatting (catching up) she said 'ok, do a bit of work with Piper and get him ready' (he'd been napping lol)...I just said Piper heel and boom, he's awake and in heel position lol. Our trainer laughed at how attentive he is to me even right after a nap (she really loves watching him work, she has shepherds but now has great respect for Shelties). She thinks we could get his Utility in February (not happening) but maybe March or April lol, not too bad considering we just got his CD last August. The sky's the limit Baron!
