Sca is feeling quite superior! Mr. Spitfire is growing up quickly. Too cute. And I love the close-up of Sca with the hypnotic eyes!

I thought it was all hair but he might be 13" now. I tried to measure him but it is always battle royale when they first come in

It kind of means the starvation plan the bad people use to undersize them might have validity. When I got him he had to fight the horde for food and now he gets watched and his bowl is 100% off limits to Sca until he walks off. Of course maybe he was fed separate at his kennel also. Just kind of interesting that he had one last growth spurt a couple of months after being home.

He's really cute! I would love to meet Sca, he sounds like such a character! Wish I had enough space to host a gathering! Stone Mountain is really nice ....and sort of central to SC and AL...

SHELTIE TORTURE ALERT!!!!!
This was going to be Spitfire's first flyball class. Well after 20 minutes of him zipping away so I could not put his leash on (I got his collar on)
I decided fine go in the back yard and me and Sca will go without you.
Well Sca was excellent and even ran after his girlfriend Angel without even the slightest error. So the good dog was well good.
Of course when we got in Spitfire came inside and well he is coming over just fine to get petted. I think being out all by himself was the worst I could do

So for leaving me behind I piddled in the house, TWICE! last night.
My sheep was grumbling teenager phase and my brother was circling and grumbling about young-uns. If they don't straighten up I am going to poop in a slipper and bite my brother's leg today! Well I will bite my brother regardless so maybe I need to pee on his rawhide

Measured Spitfire or tried at least and the height war has moved south Spitfire is close to done growing but he is also closing in on 13". Well some would think that good as it would put him 'in size' but in Flyball if he is 12.999999" he sets the jump height at minimum. At 13.00000 he is up an inch

Sca is DOOMED!!!! Spitfire figured out how to jump on the couch. It was so funny he followed Sca up and just stood there like WOW 
But he remembered and pops up at will now. So Sca has lost his escape place and Spitfire can still zoom under things.
Oh and I had him informally measured at the Flyball tournament and he is 12.5" now so at nine months he still has a 1/2 to spare as a minimum height dog.
