Just a very positive, quick update on our little girl. It has been almost 6 weeks since she came into our home. While she is still hiding under the bed at times, she is bravely choosing to join us more and more each day.
We take what she offers us and praise every small step she takes towards becoming a part of our lives.
The biggest obstacle has been her lack of socialization and exposure to the world. She must have been very sheltered and each step out of the cocoon is very frightening for her. We continue to expose her to people, cars, unfamiliar sounds and places, even when she resists, however.
We love her. She has a sweet spirit.
