Welcoming Sir Bob!

Looks like a good summer past time when it is too hot for outside play. We have one of those balls you fill with tiny kibbles and the dogs roll around to get the kibbles to drop out...keeps them happily busy. :)

Haha we have something similar, the Kong Wobbler. It was a lifesaver when Missy was a puppy because I would just put her breakfast or dinner in there and it would keep her occupied for a while. Now it takes her like, 2 minutes to empty the thing!

Here's a video of her doing it one of the first couple times.

I got Bob because it has two adjustable "doors" so you can make it easy or harder (theoretically) for the treats to come out--however when your sheltie is smart enough to figure out how to open the door wider with his teeth, it sort of defeats the purpose.:rolleyes2:

Koko, bless his heart, is rather flummoxed by both of the toys. I will separate them today and see if he can figure one out without the whirling dervish trying to empty both toys at the same time. "Oh boy! that's mine!"

Making it more of a challenge is good! I can't do that with the wobbler.

My parents bought a wobbler for their dog, but she could never figure it out. Then they left it sitting on the floor and I came over with Missy. I heard the familiar sound of food being rolled in the wobbler, and sure enough Missy had found it and knew exactly how to get food out of there. Too bad it wasn't her food.. so I took it away.
