groovy thanx, i felt like she was doing ok she is growing and certainly does not look like she is missing any meals. she is mean and lean and into everything that is mine..LOL.

Do keep in mind your puppy is only 4 months old and growing. While, I think two cups of high quality food is a lot, unless your puppy is overweight, a little extra kibble won't hurt.

Good to know, Ginny certainly isn't skinny, but she acts like I starve her. she horfs down her food so that she can try and steal Sadie's

Bailey isn't skinny either. She is definitely a bigger boned sheltie. I recently cut down on treats and reduced her food from 2/3 to 1/2 cup a day. On active days, I still give her 2/3. I'm also starting to transition her to adult food.
