Westminster Agility

Fletcher suddenly took an interest in the trials on TV and started barking at the dogs!

it is rather not sporting IMHO to do the draw by envelope without counting how many entries are there, so someone with 5 dogs entry gets same chance as someone with 1 dog... but I guess it is just another AKC show, so regular rules do apply?

I'm off to watch it now. I recorded it. :)

Honestly, I just like seeing things like this on tv. :) Makes it more real.....like, hey, I do that!!!

Ah so disappointed that a Sheltie hasn't qualified yet! Come on shelties! I hope there is one in 20".

My friend Patti Gagnon won the 12 inch with Radiance and in both JWW and Standard but I didn't get to see the finals and know she did not win and my friend Shoshona Dos won 20 inch JWW and was 2nd in standard and Glance hurt himself at the weaves .I believe they are running on max trax and it is hard on the dogs and slippery.

Very cool. My friend's beardie went in the wrong side of tunnel, but otherwise did very well. I stopped watching after that .

I recognized a few of the 12 inch dogs. I've definitely seen them at trials. Especially the guy who ran the Eskimo.

I must admit it was more interesting to see different breeds run. Hey, if they continue this, maybe in a few years, I'll get the confidence to enter.

OMG!! How cool. I just saw Jaime run (the 16" Beagle). I always was running near him (within 1-2 dogs). I used to laugh because the owner would bite off hot dogs and drop them out of his mouth, to the dog. Bummer on his run. But it was kinda neat to see him!!!

So, because of the basketball game, my DVR only recorded 1.5 hours worth. Did it actually go all 2 hours? And did the larger dogs run? I only saw the end of the 16" dogs. I did record it for Tuesday.

Yes, they went late and all classes ran. It was great to see an "All American Dog" take a win but nothing could beat the BC. Very impressive.

I feel really bad for Glance, praying it is minor. Looked like a rough surface to run on for that event.

What did I learn? Yea, me and Melli will do great. We will walk through and laugh at ourselves.

However, I did have some leash envy and began shopping for drag leashes for our next round of classes. I end up with the stupid leash handles wrapped round my neck or something! I know, I can cut them off what I have but then I would have to buy another anyway.
