What about Extra Virgin Coconut Oil?

Let us know how it helps you and the dogs. I'm really interested to know. I still can't believe I'd never heard of it before, I've been using alternative medicine for my immune health and other health issues for years and thought I knew about it all. :rolleyes2:

I do believe that is why I was looking into it a few years back. My setter had hypothyroidism and I was looking into supplements for his immune system, as he battled Lyme as well.

I'll keep you posted. :wink2: When I tried tasting it...it really didn't have any significant taste..kind of blank but a little coconut smell. So...I put some in my coffee, and used some on an english muffin. Added a dab of butter to the english muffin too. Seemed to be no difference in taste for either way. Again..just a faint coconut smell. For me..to take it by the spoonful is gross and I imagine like a spoonful of crisco oil! YUK! haha..

I have a jar here, and I agree, it just looks like a tub of crisco :dead:
