What are your pup's favourite toys?

i need to get one of those balls.

Bailey's new favorite toy is a vampire squeak toy that has 8 squeakers! She picked it out herself at petsmart. She pulled it right off the rack. She loves it. She'll sit there for 20 minutes and just squeak it. A little annoying for me, but I'm glad she found a toy that she can play with more than 2 minutes.

Favourite Toys:

- The Dead Duck (like Ontario Shelties' chipmunk) but with the wings and duck feet, so more parts to grab, squeekers at both ends - the boys fight over it all the time
- Bacca's favourite: the ball inside the ball - The Hol-ee Roller rubber ball where I inserted a small cat ball inside (that jingles).

Yes, idea was stolen off this forum (can't remember whose idea it was but we were complaining how our pups like cat toys, but our dogs chew them to bits) It worked perfectly! He grabs it with his teeth, whips it up in the air and then chases it down the hall. Too funny to watch him playing with himself!

Be really careful with those balls. They were very popular with the local dogs (Tully has 2) - esp as we thought they were so durable and they could tug and chew them. But would you believe one of the dogs came down with a bowel obstruction two weeks ago and it turned out to be half of one of those balls! Yep, pretty big but they compress enough to get down a throat. Poor Toby is looking pretty sorry and he is still borderline as he is having all kinds of eating problems.

Just thought I would throw out McKinley's new most favorite toy and it entertains him now for most of the afternoon.

A whiffle ball and the uneven hardwood and tile floors in the dining room and the kitchen/foyer.

It is so funny. This ball goes flying across the floor with MMM in pursuit, seeing a wall coming towards him, he ssssssssslides with all four feet going four directions trying to stop, he bounces onto the wall, then under the dining room table, where he does this paw exercise that makes you think of boys running through the tires at football practice and then he's up and the ball is now going the other way, he runs full speed and slams into the wine rack, now the ball has rolled into the kitchen and he gallops across the tile and under the island and bbbbbbbonks into the frig knocking off the vanity kick plate at the bottom of the frig and the ball goes under the baker's rack and then he tries to crawl under and uses his paw, like a cat, to swipe it out from under the rack..............it is just so fun to watch and you just know he is having a great time.

need video and a begging face smileycon :wink2:

Treader's favorite toys in general are stuffies or tennis toys. Tennis balls can wear down the teeth though, so I recently got the tennis product made by the Kong company that is non-abrasive. It's also squeaky, shaped like a dumbbell, and Treader's new favorite.

Tully loves the kong toys too - esp the donut and the square ball (it bounces all over the place). Not one of her kong toys have broken (except the squeaker dies), although they do get a little slobbery and need washing. They are worth the extra money.

Jessica! You are over the top! Nothing too good for Smudge! I can't believe he's 7 months old already!
