What breeds do Shelties get along with?

You're breaking my heart here.:sadsmile: Actually the first dog Cadbury played with at the park at 12 weeks old was Penny the sable sheltie. They adored each other and played chase, he knew not to bounce on her even at that age

Michelle, if only Earnie could come to play with Cadbury - they would get on like a house on fire.

Sandstorms girlfriend is a Lab mix-mostly Lab. She is 2 months younger than Sandstorm, but bigger, and knows not to play too rough-smart puppy too. If only she were trained!! If her owners don't train her soon, she could turn out to be a real pain.

Last week, Layla met Coco, my colleague's Lhasa Apso. It was like Miss America meets Miss USA:

Training can be difficult with some.housebreaking was a breeze with Earnhardt.Although he needed someone with real experaince in teaching good manners & boundry issues.So I asked a good friend of ours,who only had labs,to work with Earnhardt.
Kinda like a trainer,that we did'nt have to pay.Which was very knid of him to take Earnhardt in to work with him.

He was a changed dog,afterwards,so we were so grateful to him.But they can be a handful!

Same here...Max hasn't met a dog he didn't like as long as they aren't aggressive.

This dogs owners give her LOTS of excersize, but this is their first dog. They rescued her from under a dumpster in Mexico!

What type of Belgian? There are four types- the Teruven (sp?) are used as police dogs-my old dog was part Belgian, forget what kind, but it was not the Teruven.

Hmmm...I was not aware that there were different types.....the ones I know are almost black, and as pups look like little bears! I'll have to ask my co-worker who has two....
