What's your sheltie up to tonight?

I dont think ive ever in my whole life (seriously my whole life) ever gone alone at home...If I shut the door tight the cats know how lay on the door knob to open it..the worst is though when Molly is laying wrapped around the toilet (because its cold) and I have to do gymnastics to use it!:biggrin2:

'tis truth! My son has come up to the bathroom while I was showering to find that the dogs somehow opened the door. They think it is there duty to help dry me off and help rub in my body lotion with their tongues. Thanks for the help, boys! Not!

But No son should EVER see his mom like that~ :eek2::eek2:

Well, you have to admit that the seat is the perfect height to back your rump up to get a good scratching, and the floor is nice and cool, and the cat can play peekabo around the shower curtain, and mum can't get away from me so i can bring her all my favorite toys...

Brandi & Brady like to watch me in the bathroom in the morning ... washing my face and putting on my makeup. I close the door for shower and other duties .... and Brandi always jumps at the door and barks ... then she lays across the doorway, waiting for me ... and I can see her fur under the door. She will lay there no matter how long I take!

When I am playing with them ... I am probably more silly than they are. I find myself crawling around on my hands and knees so that I am at their level ... they both love to have a snuggle/sniff fest ... had my hair cut and colored this evening and they had to check out my new "fur do" when I was down a their level!

Every once in a while I will take off my glasses and lay flat on the floor ...only to have my face smothered in kisses from 2 directions! Shelties rule!!!

I give it a gentle tug when I see this fur - it is always interesting to open the door afterwards and see them trying to figure out what happened and who pulled their fur. I know, I'm bad

Both of mine will do that too. You can't pee in this house without an audience. Katie will lick my leg. Laddie will sit on my foot!

When my Angel Pavi passed away this past December, the first thing that bothered me is that there was no dog nose sticking through the bathroom door. Although it was a pain when it happened, because it led to one dog and three (at least) cats coming in to 'assist'. I have to say it brought tears to my eyes when I first spied my Olive's snout sticking through the door crack. So far, no cats, because they don't like her puppy behavior all that much, but the butt scratches? She loves them! Also tummy rubs. After all, I'm a captive audience!

My Abby follows me all over the house if I'm home, never an alone moment, I don't know what I would do without her.

Tonight, Gracie is allowing me to pet her and scratch her ears after giving me the stink eye all day because my 7 year old grandson got most of my attention in the house this weekend.
George is being a nut even after a big walk; he has more energy than 3 dogs! He is getting neutered soon!

DH is still getting used to Sheltie traits. He was appalled that Olive would "sneak" (when she wants, she can be a ninja) down the hallway to the bathroom to see where I went. We have an L shaped bathroom so she of course has to come and lay down on one of the bathmats to make sure I don't disappear - further astounding DH. His parents' Golden really couldn't care less what the humans are doing as long as they let her out when she barks and feed her regularly, so an interactive velcro dog is a new experience.
