When it rains, it pours

The things we do for the love of a dog...I've boiled liver (for treats), heart...phewy that stuff smells (even raw), cut up kidney (gross), and the raw mix I make for them is quite...well...disgusting (but they love it). I think I spend more time making things for them than I do baking for us...my mom will say 'oh something smells good'...dog cookies lol!

That sounds like me, cutting up offal for the cats, blah. My animals definitely eat better than me!

Oh Caro, I’m glad things are getting better for you, sometimes it is so frustrating.

Shelby has and always had awful breath. No matter what we do. It definitely isn’t her teeth b/c the vet can’t believe how good her teeth are, especially for a Sheltie. I think it is because she has an underbite and her mouth doesn’t close completely. Hollie had an infected tooth and it smelled completely different.

So I hope the breath issue is just because she hasn’t had anything good to chew on lately.
