The court has given her 5 days to produce Piper though, or she has to pay a $10,000 bond to keep her and the court case will continue, according to the filings. She was served the papers by court officials. Let's hope and pray the end is in sight and Piper is home soon.
Piper's owner has posted $10,000 bond as well. It just keeps getting more and more bizarre as time goes on. It is unfortunate that situations like this from Shelties rescues and any breed rescue for that matter is causing irreparable harm.
