Where’s Blueberry???

Piper's mom

Bought Piper a new bed…yup I did actually buy it for him. I purchased it when he had a sore leg, figured it would be better to have one in the bedroom and another in the living room rather than moving it around. Piper has yet to sleep in it…he frequently sleeps in the big pink one. I think this one in just too fluffy so far.
However Blueberry definitely approves…I’ve caught her sleeping in it twice now….if the bed were grey she’d truly be hidden lol. Finnie isn’t a dog bed dog…you’d think with him being the biggest he’d be the first to sleep in it…nope. Of course he’d rather sleep in the mini dog bed or the couch 🤣

Isn't it funny how the more expensive the bed, the fewer dogs are in it?? I bought one of those wonderful Muddy Mat round beds thinking it would be cooler than the furry ones. Sprite visits it occasionally but no one else goes near it. And the bigger dogs always love the smaller beds too! Love the pics,,,,,hilarious!

With these beds it seems like the more lived in they are then the more the dogs will lay on them. The pink one Piper sleeps in all the time. This is the same brand as the pink one but I like the fact that they’ve changed to a removable cover.and because of that I was able to fluff this one up considerably more. It has separate baffles and the middle cushion. I don’t think it’s worth the cost…I was just feeling sorry for Piper…HE’s definitely worth it, even if he’s not using it yet. lol

I bought a big one too thinking both of my pup could sleep in it at once but no that didn't happen, Our Cat loved it, the dogs prefer sleeping in the small old Amazon bed tho they do occasionally sleep for a while in the big bed, especially in the winter. I wish I had gotten the smaller size I think they like the edged but I figured when they get older and suffer the curse of old "hinges" they might appreciate it more.

I took the older pink bed to wash (phew did it stink) and put the new bed in its place…suddenly it’s everybody’s favourite lol. Even Finnie was sleeping in it. The other bed is now clean, I just haven’t brought it upstairs…we’ll see which one they prefer when there are two beds upstairs lol.

Spitfire would not have the clearance to get out. He loved beds as a puppy but Sca ate them all. Ever since he has pretty much ignore them.
Piper can get in and out…it really sinks down when they step on it. I love how comfortable Piper looks as he sleeps in it.
I’m thinking of putting the other bed on my side of the bed sort of 1/2 in the closet. Maybe then Piper would sleep in it rather than on the floor beside my bed where I almost trip on him every morning when I get up! Especially when you consider how stiff you are when you first get up…last thing you need is a dog on the floor in the dark! Lol

Haha you can solve that problem by having the dogs sleep on the bed with you then they won't be in the way when you get up in the morning. Now how much of the bed would still be yours is a battle for another time.
