Wooooo Hoo! - Photo!

BIS is tough to win as a sheltie, and shows you have a special little dog (as an example I have never even gotten best of winners :biggrin2:).

Congratulations on the win, WTG Ruffles and Ann, what an awesome win, Best In Show. I'd heard this before and Brad commented on how hard it is for a Sheltie to win BIS, does anyone know why it is so hard? Of course, to us, these little souls are the most beautiful little fur baby's on 4 legs and can't understand why everyone else doesn't think so as well. Pretty new bowl and beautiful ribbons, can't wait to see the pictures. :hugs

The breed is popular, and a lot of good shelties show up to compete is part of it. First, we have to win our breed, then our group, then best in show, and if you are a class dog, you have to win your class, be selected best of winners, and best the specials to win breed. Most of your BIS winners are going to be grand champions being campaigned for breed placements so they can be invited to Westminster, etc, like Jimmy Moses's sheltie Brother.
