I'm sorry i don't remember reading it, i haven't mastered this site yet! Actually i don't find it user friendly! But thankfully the people here are.

Famous Seamus

Thank you i went to the site and in the information it has the information on thyroid that i need. No doubt max is hypothyroid. I was so upset, i. Alled my vets office and told them i was faxing over information that i would like given to all the vets!!!
My husband said Max had been on the medicine last year that they recommended! Either way i'm meeting with a new vet on monday. Thank you so much.
I wish i could find a vet just for'shelties !!!!!!

If you look up to where it says "welcome, Lynnel" on the top right corner of this page you will see "private messages" in blue. Click on that and you will get your pm's.

I hope this helps.

I checked messages and your wasn't there

That's strange, I checked my sent file and I sent it on December 30th. Are you sure you're looking at your private messages, not your visitor messages?

If you scroll to the top of the screen, near the top, right under where it says Welcome Lynnel, click the blue lettering that says 'Private Messages'. You should then see a message entitled 'Yeast Infection.' Click on the bold lettering to open it.

I'll try sending it to you again, although I didn't say as much as I did in this thread.

Yeast

My husband and I are celebrating (hopefully not to early) too Max to the new vet today, first thing he said is Max is hypothyroid!!! Even new that shelties should be on the high side. He found all the things that i have been telling my old vet and old vet ignored them! Hubby and i feel like a big weight is listed and look forward to our boy doing the things normal dogs do like barking and jumping and playing. Now hopefully I can just deal with his pancreatitus, it is getting better, but its so scary, especially when your vet goes bad on you.

Yeast

Wonderful to hear that you're finally getting some answers! Hopefully Max is back to his old self soon.

Yeast and pancreatitus

I spoke to soon this morning max threw up, i think i mixed his food with too many ingredients. Going forward i want to go back to kibble and stop with experimenting with him and food. Now does anyone know a kibble low in fat and grain free. Help
